Deadly Shaft is ... deadly. It is a deadly decent that has not had any confirmed survivor who was an enemy live. Aircraft fly down the centre at high speeds and the spiralling and uneven path leading down is filled with ghosts that are both hostile or innocent, a number of undead beings and a few dangerous snakes and bats. This includes a type of bat that gets it's prey by coming out at a high velocity and pushing their victims off into the shaft. Another really dangerous creature is the Widejaw, a type of snake that snatches it's prey suddenly and gobbles it up. It has been known to eat an average weight species up to six feet! The shaft also contains a number of dangerous traps near the bottom that aim at sending others flying to their doom or killing them where they stand. It is highly recommended that no one goes here.
